Producing a video using Adobe Premiere not difficult thought. It’s easy, but may be some confusion on how to produce an animation video using Adobe Flash Professional & Adobe Premiere for final editing.

In this post, I’m not going to show you how to produce an animation using Adobe Flash or Adobe Premiere but I’m going to show you a simple way to integrate these two software to produce a high-rate animation video.

In this tutorial you will:

1- Learn how to convert .fla file (ext for Adobe Flash Professional) to AVI file

2- Know why inserting flash file (.swf) into the Adobe Premiere is a big mistake.

3- Learn the right way to add the additional effect of “After Effects” to Adobe Premiere.

1. How to convert .fla file to AVI?

Open the .fla file that you have completed animated. Then:

Click File>Export>Export Movie…

A small box will appear then select “Windows AVI”

Set the AVI video size you want. Large size is recommended.

Video Format: Choose “32 bit color w/ alpha” for a hight rate resolution video. Untick “Compress video” & tick “Smooth”.

Then click “OK”.

2. Why inserting flash file (.swf) into the Adobe Premiere is a big mistake?

Adobe Premiere support a flash file (.swf) but the video quality may be affected during the rendering process. If your flash files is big, red colour may appear out during the rendering process. Selecting the AVI file is the best choice than .swf.

3. The best way to add the additional effect of “After Effects” to Adobe Premiere.

If you want to include additional effects into your video editing process in Adobe Premiere like effects and effects intro ending credits video / movie, be sure to include (import) files to the library after Effects Adobe Premiere AVI instead. This is to ensure the quality of video to be produced is high and satisfactory.

Rendering

Rendering is Evil.. )

Once you have completed the process of editing your video, you need to render first. To avoid the rendering process to be too long, you need to render each time you insert a file in Adobe Premiere timeline by pressing the “enter” button in your keyboard.

How to solve the Adobe Photoshop Hand Tool Stuck Problem:

Open Your Adobe Photoshop, Go to Edit>Preferences>General

A popup will appear then click “Reset All Warning Dialogs” and select “OK”. That’s it..

Or

simply ctrl+k….

If the problem still won’t solve it self, restart your computer and do this again. Good Luck..

Holla! This is our final project task for the 2nd semester.. We take about 3 days to complete this animation. The story is easy.. A kid walking to fish a fish.. hoho.. WTF Grammar.. Sorry. English is not my main language.. :p

The original idea of this animation is come from The Early Worm Flash Animation by Tony and we rebuild it manually using “hand” , “Adobe Flash Pro CS4″, “Adobe Premiere CS4″, & “Adobe After Effects”..

Search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing have their own system to evaluate the quality of a website and articles. But the problem does not want to use the www or just an isolated problem that should be solved by setting the stand want to use www or not. I mean try to stay with one option only and not changing.

For those who use Linux hosting/Apache Sever, you can redirect non-www to www using a file .htaccess located in the root of your hosting.

Download the .htaccess file using a third party software such as FileZilla and run using any text editor like notepad and pspad. If the file .htaccess does not exist in your hosting root, then you need to create one using notepad or another familiar software and save it with the name .htaccess (make sure you choose “all file” in the option).

Copy and paste the code below into the .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond% (HTTP_HOST) ^ domain.com
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.com/ $ 1 [R = 301, L]

change the domain.com to your own domain name..

Save it and upload to your hosting root. I suggest you use the FTP software like FileZilla to upload the file to the server.

Now, try to copy the non-www url of your web domain name and paste it in the browser and see whether it works or not. If not, replace the .htaccess file with the original .htaccess file. (Which means you should make backups to the file above).

By default, wordpress used the username “admin” in the manual wordpress installation (via FTP).  Because most people known the username, then this could help hackers to hack into our website easily.

How to change the default WordPress admin username:

1. Using your hosts MySQL administration tool (I.E. phpmyadmin), locate and select your WordPress database
2. From your WordPress database, locate and select the wp_users table (Note: the wp prefix may differ) and then click the browse icon
3. Locate admin and click the edit icon
4. Under the user_login column, change admin to your preferred WordPress administrative login name and then click go

Umpphh.. I’m so tired but feel better and very happy with all the supporting given by our school junior to our Camp. All the tired, pressure, & da da da, successful absorbed well by all participants including the facilitator. I also would like to thank Mr. Syakir and Ustaz Husba on the advice given before and during camp. Thanks also to the other lecturers involved indirectly in this camp like our “Mama” Miss Emma, and others.

Overall, this camp was successful and received positive feedback from participants. Most responses came from the facebook.com social website. I personally want to apologize to all my junior for the less of smile from me.. eheh. I actually really hard to smile and talking much to people that I was not so closed. After this camp, I think there is no problem between all of us and we are all family.

Before we begin on this topic, what is animation? There is a lot of definitions about animation but it’s still in the same meaning.

Here is a nice one:

“Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement” ++ Wikipedia.

Look at the picture above. 2 aliens or may be some animal on this planet that I’ve not found yet , show a rapid display of movement. Alien B open his mouth then close back. Then it’s call animation. Got it? Good! Now we start the engine

What is Principles of Animation?

1 – Squash and stretch

• Give a sense of weight and flexibility to drawn objects.

• Comical effect.

• Object’s volume does not change when squashed or stretched.

2 – Anticipation

• Used to prepare the audience for an action.

• The action appear more realistic.

• Eg: a golfer making a swing has to swing the club back first.

3 – Staging

• Direct the audience’s attention.

• Make it clear what is of the greatest importance in a scene.

• “the presentation of any idea so that it is completely and unmistakably clear“

• Avoiding unnecessary detail.

4 – Straight ahead action and pose to pose

• “Straight ahead action” means drawing out a scene frame by frame from beginning to end.

• “Pose to pose” involves starting with drawing a few, key frames, and then filling in the intervals later.

• “Straight ahead action” : realistic action.

• “Pose to pose” : dramatic or emotional scenes.

5 – Follow through and overlapping action

• Help render movement more realistic.

• “Follow through” : separate parts of a body will continue moving after the character has stopped.

• “Overlapping action” : the tendency for parts of the body to move at different rates.

6 – Slow in and slow out

• Time to accelerate and slow down the movement.

• An animation looks more realistic.

• Eg: Human body movement.

7 – Arcs

• Animation should reproduce the movements for greater realism.

• Rotating a joint, or a thrown object moving along a parabolic trajectory.

• The exception is mechanical movement, which typically moves in straight lines.

8 – Secondary action

• Gives a scene more life.

• Take no attention away from the main action.

• In the case of facial expressions, during a dramatic movement these will often go unnoticed.

9 – Timing

• Refers to two different concepts: physical timing and theatrical timing.

• Tell the audience that the story timing is right.

• Eg: big body & small body have difference movement timing etc.

10 – Exaggeration

• Additional animation effect.

• To reduce boredom in cartoons.

• Make sure it’s balance to avoid unrealistic cartoons.

• Eg: Wild cartoons with wild action, background etc.

11 – Solid drawing

• The same principles apply to an animator as to an academic artist.

• The drawer has to understand the basics of anatomy, composition, weight, balance, light and shadow etc.

• Eg: doing sketches from life etc.

12 – Appeal

• Appeal in a cartoon character corresponds to what would be called charisma in an actor.

• Build connection between audience and character.

• Eg: Villains character is take by a villain look like cartoon.
